Winter Vacation

Yesterday we returned the drywall jack and cleaned out the rooms, then we put up the Christmas tree. Had the drywall guy come by and look at the place; he seemed impressed by the quality of our drywalling work, which was gratifying. He said he'd give us a quote Monday and also let us know whether he was willing to take on the job or not.

No work on the parlours until after the Feast of the Epiphany, and we're both welcoming the break.
