Working All Night

Noel has been working his butt off until 1-2am every night this week, and we're close to done with the drywalling. I called a couple drywall places today about hiring somebody to do the taping, but the off-the-cuff quote I got was close to $3000. Yikes.

Note that we now have a Fotolog, with a couple photos of the house progress. We can add one a day, so check it out.

The painting work continues. Lots of scraping; the foreman told me today that he's going to get more people out here tomorrow, so the work gets done faster, both scraping and wet sanding. Then the conditioning treatment for the wood, then priming. I'm sure they want to get the house sealed up before it starts raining again.
