Give Thanks for Insulation

Spent the holiday putting up the ventilation channels and some insulation. Most of the back parlour is now insulated, but the front parlour is the tricky bit because none of the stud bays are the same width, basically, and many are like 10 inches instead of a more reasonable 14 like on the side wall. Anyway. We also cleared out the abandonned pantry which will be closed in for a while, so that we don't have a huge pile of trash in the middle of our house for all time.

Oh, and the house painting should commence, like, today.
