Are You Yellow?

Yesterday, Noel told me he and John were going to finish up the priming soon, and that John would be buying paint today. Then he e-mailed me a bunch of photos, because I really wanted to see the room painted.

This is our roommate John hard at work painting the yellow base coat on the walls while Noel, apparently, plays on the ladder:

But somehow it all got done, including a very nice bit of edging along the top (probably thanks to the lovely edging tool):

Noel said it was very intense, like American mustard. Of course it's intense. It's fricking yellow paint. But it will be moderated by the red wash.
