He Shoots -- He Shores!
Rumble, rumble, rumble.
As I was sipping my morning double espresso, I heard a large truck pull up in front of the house. Pssssssss -- air brakes. Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug -- idling:
It wasn't long before they started to unload huge bundles of 4x4 sticks of wood:
The truck was also loaded up with the huge steel beams that are going to support the house:
By that time, I had to run and catch the bus to get to work on time. I returned home after dark to find that the house had been "shored" and the contractors had removed almost all of the old cripple walls. Since it was so dark, I don't have many good pictures.
