Hold, Please

NOTE: As of September 23, 2009, this post has been edited in
accordance with a court-mediated settlement. The names of the
contractor and his excavation subcontractor have been replaced with
pseudonyms.

Nothing has been happening at our house. Nothing. Here's a picture to show you that:

Note the lack of the "Contractor A Construction" sign across the front porch. Contractor A, who caused the huge mess under our house, was so ashamed of his work that he took his sign down. Later he would make us modify this site, so his name would not be associated with his sloppy, unprofessional work and his inability to keep his word. The tarps across the front of the house have also been removed, exposing the site to rainwater and sabotaging our only defense against the damage that further water would do.

Our contractor originally told us he was pulling off the job, but it seems he's abandoned us entirely... or has he? We hope to resolve that issue very soon indeed.
