So Close...

Yesterday the workers were able to install the risers (those boards you kick sometimes when walking up stairs). By the time I got outside this morning, Charlie was fitting the actual treads themselves. Here's how things looked when I left for work:

Today's Porch Cam movie shows the stair treads being very carefully measured and fitted.

The results:

Examining them close up, the tolerances are very close and the work looks extremely tidy. Here's the same thing but a bit closer:
