Front Porch Ornamental Rail

Work continues on the front of the house, but as the weather gets iffier, they are setting up to work inside when it is rainy. Hopefully that will keep us moving forward.

I still need to find time to get out on the scaffolding to take some photos of the primed upper part of the front. In the meantime, enjoy this lovely video of the ongoing restoration of the front porch, in which Woody removes the ornamental railing, repairs the roof underneath it (the railing was nailed in from the top, so the roof was just peppered with holes), then replaces it (not nailing it in place).
